Oceanic Relaxation Pocket Meditation Beads - $25.00 -

I call these oceanic because they capture the color of the sea, with the water-washed sand in between then. They were inspired by a special request to create a set of meditation beads with just this feeling. The blue of the 8mm round Capri-blue beads imitates the intense colors of the Mediterranean sea. The cobalt blue drop bead rounds out the blues representing our beautiful blue-green planet. This set is finished with 14K gold filled beads. Special note: the blues are different, even though they appear similar in this scan.

The Blues:

Color therapy is used to balance energy wherever our bodies are lacking; physical, emotional , spiritual, or mental. Understanding why certain colors effect us favorably while others bring about negative feelings helps us along our healing journeys. Blue reduces nervous excitement. Blue is cooling, soothing, and astringent. Psychologically, blue is the color for relaxing the mind. Blue stands for communication, inner voice, certainty, integrity, creativity, conscience, melancholy, clarity, faith and trust, and emotional health.

Ten Steps to Relaxation:

Start by placing the loop of these beads over one finger on your non-dominant hand. With your dominant hand, use the beads to count for you, allowing your mind to be free to relax.

Beginning with the focal bead, pause and bring yourself to this moment. Block out what noise you can, possibly imagining yourself at the beach or in a peaceful forest. At each of the ten beads breathe in deep and slow to the count of ten. Pause and hold your breath gently before exhaling slowly, again to the count of ten. Repeat once at each bead.

If time allows, switch hands and repeat this meditation, looping the beads onto your dominant hand, and counting with your non-dominant hand. If you have even more time, try this meditation once on each finger, for a total of 100 sets.

The use of the slow and steady breathing and using both of your hands helps to free your mind and your thoughts. Please enjoy these beads as often as possible.
